Terms of Service

By downloading or using Cloud City ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of Cloud City, an Android game developed and published by Trenton Dyck ("developer", "I", "me"). By installing or playing the App, you accept these terms in full.

2. Description of the App

Cloud City is a strategy game in which you manage a floating colony in the clouds of Venus and attempt to survive 12 orbital cycles. The App is provided as-is for entertainment purposes. Features and content may change at any time.

3. In-App Purchases

The App offers optional in-app purchases processed entirely by Google Play Billing. The following applies:

• All payments are handled by Google. I do not receive, store, or process your payment information directly.
• Purchases are charged to your Google account at the time of confirmation.
• Refunds are subject to Google Play's refund policy. I am not able to issue refunds outside of that process.
• In-app purchases are not required to play the game.

4. Intellectual Property

All content in the App — including but not limited to game code, artwork, audio, and design — is owned by the developer. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App for personal, non-commercial entertainment only.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or reverse-engineer any part of the App.

5. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Attempt to exploit, hack, or cheat the App in a way that affects other users or the integrity of purchase systems.
• Use the App in violation of any applicable law.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. I make no guarantees regarding uptime, data preservation, or fitness for a particular purpose. Your use of the App is at your own risk.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of game progress or data.

8. Termination

I reserve the right to discontinue the App or restrict access to it at any time, without notice, particularly in cases of abuse or violation of these terms.

9. Changes to These Terms

I may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect any changes. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
